Log Entry after leaving a planet

Have you received on of these log entries before?

I haven't. But I've tried. What do they mean? Nothing. Apparently they are simply adding to the 'lore' of the game. Thanks to VerneAsimov for posting this on reddit.

I put in a bug report via the Frontier forums. The response from the QA team: "Hey magillag, when you scan a Data Point (normally found on settlements or POIs ) there is a chance this will appear: it is purely Lore focused. :)"

My history with Elite

I'm not one of those guys who played the original Elite game in the 80's, nor did I play the sequel. I started playing Elite Dangerous just after it was released in December of 2015. I'm not an alpha, beta, gamma, nor rammma backer. I think it's also important to note that this is my first experience in the MMO genre.
I have three small children under ten years old, so it's important to me to find a game that has no gore, cussing, hideous monsters, or other distasteful elements. This is where Elite fits the bill... for me. But, it's not for everyone.
